Let’s talk hair.

Ways to reach us

Especially welcome

What we love hearing about.

  • Your hair story. The cut that finally felt like you. The grow-out journey. The salon disaster. We read every one.
  • Topic requests. Tell us what you wish there was more honest writing about — we’ll add it to the editorial calendar.
  • Corrections & feedback. Spotted something inaccurate? Out of date? Please flag it. We take this seriously.
  • Brand & salon partnerships. Thoughtful collaborations with companies that respect mature women as their audience.
  • Press, podcasts & quotes. Working on a story about hair and aging? Linda is happy to contribute on the record.
  • Guest submissions. Stylists, colorists, and trichologists with expertise in mature hair — we’d love to hear your pitch.

A small note on response time. Mature Hair Guide is a small, independent publication — every email is read and replied to personally, which means it can take 3–5 business days to hear back. We always do. If your message is time-sensitive, please mention it in the subject line.

Before you write

Frequently asked.

Can you recommend the right haircut for my face shape and hair type?
We can’t give personal styling consultations by email — that’s the job of a trusted stylist who can see your hair in person. What we can do is point you toward the most relevant guides on the blog. Tell us your hair length, texture, and what you’re hoping to change, and we’ll send back two or three articles tailored to where you are.
Do you accept guest posts or sponsored articles?
Occasionally — but only from professionals with genuine expertise in hair, beauty, or aging well (licensed stylists, colorists, trichologists, dermatologists, certified colourists). We do not accept generic SEO link-building outreach. If that’s you, please don’t take it personally. Real pitches go to maturehairguide@gmail.com with the word “Pitch” in the subject line.
How do I get my salon, product, or work featured on the blog?
Send us a short note explaining what you’d like featured, who your audience is, and why it would resonate with women over 40. We don’t accept paid placements that aren’t clearly disclosed — but we do feature salons, products, and creators we genuinely love, regularly and without charge.
I saw a hairstyle on your blog — can you tell me where it’s from?
Yes, gladly. Send us a link to the specific article along with a short description of which look you mean (top of the post, third image, the silver bob, etc.) and we’ll point you to the original source whenever we have it on file.
Where do you source your images?
Mature Hair Guide uses a mix of licensed stock photography, professional hairstylist portfolios shared with permission, and AI-assisted imagery used for illustration. We do our best to credit and link sources whenever they’re known. If you believe an image of yours has been used without proper credit, please reach out — we’ll correct or remove it promptly.
Will my email actually be read by a person?
Yes. Every message lands in an inbox monitored by Linda, the founder. We don’t use auto-responders, ticket bots, or third-party PR teams. It might take a few days, but you’ll always hear back from a human.
